Dr. Laura McDonnell

I conduct collaborative research on climate change and variability in aquatic systems, focusing on their impacts on predatory fish and human marine users.

My interdisciplinary work integrates tag data from marine predators into ocean observations, climate models, and dynamic spatial management efforts.

I am currently a Postdoctoral Investigator at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. In Spring 2027, I will be joining the University of Prince Edward Island as a postdoctoral researcher.
